Bennie Edward Hicks

EVERGREEN, NC—Bennie Edward Hicks, 81, of Evergreen, NC, died Friday, February 20, 2026, at Lower Cape Fear LifeCare.

He was a veteran of the U. S. Air Force.

The funeral will be 12:00 Noon Saturday, February 28, at Peoples Funeral Chapel.  Burial will be in the Evergreen Community Cemetery.

Visitation will be at the funeral home chapel Saturday 30 minutes prior to the service.

Surviving are his daughters, Kereen McCullough of Reisterstown, MD and Virginia Jacobs of Randallstown, MD; sister, Cynthia Hicks of Laurel, MD; brother, Terrence Hicks of New Bern, NC.
