VIRGINIA BEACH,--VA—Dorothy Mae Steele Vereene, 79, formerly of Hallsboro, died Saturday, January 20, in Virginia Beach, VA.
The funeral will be 11:30 AM Friday, February 2, at the Peoples Funeral Chapel in Whiteville. Burial will be in the Hallsboro Memorial Park.
Viewing will be at the funeral home Friday one hour prior to and following the service.
Surviving are her sons, Victor Vereen of Brooklyn, NY and B. Franklin Vereen, Jr. of Virginia Beach, VA; daughter, Vanessa Vereen of Virginia Beach, VA; brothers, Harry Lee Steele and Thomas Steele of Clarkton, Robert Steele and Alfred Steele of Paterson, NJ, James A. Steele of West Virginia, and Winifred Ramsey of Asheville; sisters, M. Ruth Shaw and Pamela Rogers of Paterson, NJ and Debbie Jones of Texas.
