SHALLOTTE--James Alton Pigott, 72, of 413 McMilily Road, Shallotte, died Thursday, January 25, at his residence.
He was the son of the late Lavander Pigott and Isabel Butler Pigott.
The funeral will be 11:00 AM Sunday, January 28, at Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church, 587 Bricklanding Road, SW, Shallotte, by Dr. Vaughn Cherry. Burial will be in the Angela Faye Memorial Cemetery.
Viewing will be at Peoples Funeral Home of Whiteville Saturday from 1:00 to 3:00 PM and at the church Sunday one hour prior and following the service.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn Pigott; daughters, Jennifer Gause and Jenaine Stanley of Shallotte and Jessica Pigott of Charlotte; son, Darryl McNeil of Supply; and sister, Bernice Pigott of Shallotte.
